Vampin' Lady
The live cabaret show starring Joyce Moody and celebrating the music of Milton Ager -- "Happy Days Are Here Again," "Hard Hearted Hannah (The Vamp of Savannah)," "I'm Nobody's Baby" -- opened October 25 and moved to New York on December 19.   Currently accepting additional bookings through 2008!

Oscar Hammerstein Award
for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre

William Watkins will serve as producer for the York Theatre Company of the 17th Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre, to be given in December 2008.

The Oscar Hammerstein Award is named in honor of the legendary lyricist who helped shape American musical theatre through his collaborations with a number of different composers and writers. The Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala is the major fundraising event of The York Theatre Company. Past recipients include Stephen Sondheim, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, Harold Prince, Cy Coleman, Charles Strouse, Arthur Laurents, Jerry Herman, Stephen Schwartz, Peter Stone, David Merrick, John Kander & Fred Ebb, Terrence McNally, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Carol Channing, Tony Walton, and Joseph Stein.
